So heavy inside of me

Blood, innocence, devoured by evil, lurking inside us
The guilt is a shadow that will not go away
The empty crib remains, of my failure and shame

Evil, darkness, spreading the fear
In the bowels of the night
Death, a ritual, of sacrifice
In the hands of the unknown, a life ends
